FNB Scratch & Dent Cover: Paying Monthly for Protection, Yet My Claim Was Rejected
I am extremely disappointed with the way my Scratch & Dent claim has been handled by FNB.
I recently submitted a claim for a scratch on my vehicle's front door measuring less than 1.5 cm. To my surprise, the claim was rejected. This is exactly the type of minor cosmetic damage that a Scratch & Dent policy is supposed to cover.
I pay my premiums every month in good faith, expecting assistance when my vehicle suffers minor scratches and dents. If a scratch as small as 1.5 cm does not qualify for repair, then I have to question the purpose and value of this cover.
As a loyal customer, I feel misled and frustrated. Customers purchase Scratch & Dent cover specifically to avoid paying out of pocket for these small repairs. Rejecting a claim for such minor damage defeats the entire purpose of the policy.
I would appreciate a review of my claim and a clear explanation as to why a policy designed for minor scratches and dents is unwilling to assist with one of the smallest scratches imaginable.
Unfortunately, my experience has left me questioning whether this product delivers the value that customers are paying for
