FNB Scratch and Dent Policy ****
Don't waste you time with FNB Scratch and Dent policy. Have this policy on my vehicle and submitted a claim for a small dent probably caused someone opening their door on it.
This dent is so minor that I only submitted the claim to see how effective this policy is. To my disbelief this minor dent was rejected as it exceeded their claim limit.
If this minor dent was rejected then their is no hope that any other chip, scratch or dent would be approved with their pricing structure.
Don't waste your time with this policy.

After my claim was rejected and after lodging this complaint I was told I could also get a quote from panel beaters in my area recommended by the underwriters MotoVantage. No surprises as the first quote was less than half their initial amount to repair.
A new claim was then lodged and claim approved the next day. Repairer called to confirm a booking a day later and the repair was done while I waited, approx an hour.
If you don't want your claim rejected (it will if you send photos as they asked for), find out who their approved repairers are and get a quote from them and submit it with your initial claim.
