FNB ******** of note

I bought a new property through FNB and I opted to utilize their Move your home and not your home loan option as I was in a process of selling another property. When the buying process started I sent the agent an email stating what my understanding of that option was, based on what they advertised. My understanding was as follows: 1. Bond registration fee for my new loan(the one I am currently applying for) will be paid by FNB 2. Early termination fees I pay for the loan that I am currently cancelling will be paid back 3. Bond cancellation attorney fee for the bond that I am cancelling will be paid back

The agent agreed, my understating is correct.

The first one, they did pay the lawyers for the bond registration of my new property. The second one, I don't know if I had any early termination fees to pay as they do not want to send me the breakdown of the final settlement amount paid for the property I was selling. This is yet another battle as I am also getting silent treatment when requesting breakdown of the final settlement amount. So I don't know if I am entitled to any refund on that. The 3rd one which is the bond cancellation attorney fees for my old bond, they are not saying anything. I sent emails to the agent that assisted me with my new bond. He sent an email to FNB wealth, who are supposed to do the refund. They never responded. I then sent the same email to FNB care, they also never responded. The silent treatment is very unprofessional for me. Why advertise something and when it is time to refund it you ignore the customers.

I'm really unhappy right now and questioning my stay with FNB. I have my everything with FNB but this treatment is not what I signed up for.

Kind regards

Reviewer Update
19 days later, I am still waiting for this issue to be resolved. After logging the issue I got calls with people telling me that they are looking into the issue. Last contact from FNB; I was being told that the issue has been resolved and that invoice for my refund has been submitted and I should let them know when I receive the funds. That was on the 4th of October. I have been waiting for the funds to be paid into my account. I am back into getting silent treatment when I follow up. So ya, nothing has changed.
