FNB **********

To all,

Please be advised and aware of any FNB Connect Sim cards.

You will apply for a specific package on the FNB online banking site, you will then receive your sim card and directions to activate the number.

Once the number is in use your allocation will not be done and the sim card acts as a normal prepaid sim. I app**** for a UNLIMITED package and end up paying out of bundle rates and having to load airtime as my package was not allocated.

From the 24th January I ended up calling every day and being told my debit order for my allocation will run TOMORROW and it stays with TOMORROW every day you call them.

When I requested for the Port to be reversed and for my number to be taken back to Vodacom, the call centre advised me that I will still pay the contract fees every month due to my contract with FNB??????

From the 24th January I ended up calling every day

This is false advertising and misrepresentation.

Please think twice before porting in to FNB Connect or taking up a contract with them, rather stay with companies like Vodacom and Mtn who have been around for years and actually know what they are doing.
