FNB's new way of making money off ofit's customers

Just over two weeks ago, I went to an ATM in 4 Merchant Place, Cnr Rivonia Road, and Fredman Drive, Sandton. I was to withdraw R300 from ewallet...I had punched in all the info i.e. cell no. ewallet PIN and the amount when the ATM went out of service. I waited to see if the money(R300) would be available after it came back on but no. It was after hours so I waited until the following day, went into the branch, was made to complete sort of like an incident report and promised feed back in 48 hours. Haven't heard anything since.

Because it was only 3000 cents, I was willing to let it go. It was when I heard that a friend had the same thing happen to him that it occurred to me that perhaps this was a new FNB way of making money off us. His was also an insignificant amount...same M O

I bank with FNB and contemplating switching to a less dishonest bank.

The failure of for the consultant to get back to me (period) or in 48 hours speaks to the level of service.

FNB used to be a great bank...until(one of the things) they promised airport slow lounge access to platinum cheque card holders like yours truly...but failed to deliver.
