FNB ******* Banking Charge

Unprocessed Debit Order Charge I was late in making sure that i had a sufficient balance in my transactional account, which is why 2 of my Debit orders were rejected. Bank charged me R105 per transaction. When i first contact them the response from the secure chat agent was that it would be automatically reprocessed. After 2 days nothing had been reprocessed and so i contacted them again. Only to be told that i would have to contact the companies myself. So what exactly is the R105 for? Is FNB telling its customers that it cost them R105 each time a payment is rejected due to an insufficient balance? R105 for a program to run, detect that there is an insufficient balance, and send a rejection message.and nothing else. Wow! surely that is theft?

Jan 11 2023, FNB's response is about the charge and not the actual process and how it was managed when i requested direction via their chat functionality. FNB??

Hi,money has been reimbursed.
Still think the debit order reversal process is a bit archaic for a bank that markets itself as tech advanced.
