FNB Revolving Credit Application

Here we go again. Another complaint for this bank. FNB has just cemented their place as the tardiest credit provider in the world. I app**** for a revolving credit facility on the 27th of August. At the time, this specific facility ticked most of my credit needs. It was immediately approved in the branch based on all the application documents that I submitted at the time to the consultant- i.e bank statements and salary slip. A week later and suddenly the back end of FNB credit department comes back with a lame excuse- “ your salary doesn’t match/pass our verification of your verified income into FNB”. This is the most ridiculous excuse I have ever received since I never claimed my salary goes into my FNB account otherwise what was the point of me applying using my salary slip and bank statements from my other bank? FNB is just pathetic and seems to be robotic at this stage. Can FNB just decide if they want to lend people money or not and stop wasting our efforts and time with such nonsensical excuses. Anyways, I will simply just walk into my other bank where a warm loan offer is still waiting for me to take up. Thank you ABSA for being a bigger and better creditor than FNB ever was!
