FNB review

I have been a loyal FNB client for over 20 plus years. On December of 2024 my account was de*****ed, 2 online transactions - (online shopping and a min – market in Westgate…). I reported the matter and within 5 - 7 working days the matter was resolve. On the 9 Jan 2025 I was refunded. I got a replacement Card (….8313) with a card replacement fee of R160 for my own cost. On the 14 February the same thing happened. Again, the matter is reported, and the matter is resolved on 19th February 2025. Again the card is replaced (……8314) with a cost to me. At this stage I get concern if it is a card issue or is my bank account at risk. A target. I ask the consultants to investigate this. On the 5th April an withdrawal of R600 was made from my account, and this was most definitely not me as I was off sick (just released from hospital the precious day) so I was in bed and not focused. On the 7th April while at home with my card in my purse another withdrawal is made from my account for R6000. This time I immediately phone the ***** line to report the matter and the previous matter. On the 10th of April I make a follow-up with bank and I’m requested to make an affidavit with this regard. With a lot of back and forth between the bank and the police station the affidavit is finally done as requested. On 28 May I make a follow up with the bank, and I'm advice that the case is refuid. Not sure what that means but that is the status. And that the bank’s SRT team needs to access the situation and get back to me. I was also requested to go to the Police station to request for a section 205 to view the footage. Footage which is only kept for 2 months. The officer advise me that a section 205 may take long, that it’s a lengthy process as he will have to go to the magistrate court to apply for a supina for the footage ect. I tried again to make a follow up at the bank no luck, I called the *****Line again on the 02/06/2025 for a follow up and was just advice that the last update was on the 30/04/2025 and that person on the case will call me. To date this matter is not resolved. Furthermore am to scared to order a replacement card to prevent further *****ulent activities on my account. I now only do online banking and have to transfer money to another account to use money. I’m considering changing bank's, but it is such a hassle, starting from your employer to every debt order or service providers ects. This is a serious inconvenience and I'm disappointed with the current services that I get from FNB.
