FNB Reversed my car insurance debit order without my permission to pay interest on their overdraft

I did not think that one day I’ll be changing fnb after so many years. I have an overdraft with them, there’s interest that they take every month for the balance on the overdraft, so when there are no funds in the account I get a negative that gets rectified or paid on the next date of my salary, when there are funds, it goes through at that time.

So last month I paid all of my debit orders and I was left with a negative amount on my account due to that interest on overdraft, FNB then decided to reverse one of my debit orders which was my car insurance without my permission or letting me know to pay for the interest on the overdraft. It was only after a few days that my insurance called me to tell me that the bank had disputed the debit order and reversed the payment. I went to the branch and I was told that they have a right to do that and they don’t even need my permission to do so. Now I am at a point whereby I do not trust them, it means one day they could even reverse my car payment without even letting me know. So I am changing this bank that is putting my life at risk, what if something happened to the car and I tried to claim while I was not even aware that I am not covered ?????
