FNB Retrenchment cover payout

FNB "how can we help you". We are you when I need you the most? I am so dissapointed and furious! I have been struggeling with FNB to settle my retrenchment cover since April 2020. When they eventually paid out in October 2020 after numerous phone calls, emails to my private banker and vissits to the branch they paid out 12 months installments into my loan account on two of my loans and thr other onr just 6 months. According to me that now means that I now have in essence paid 12 months in "advance" seeing that I had to keep on paying my loans with my retrenchment settlement every mont while waiting for FNB to approve my credit life cover! So I have paid and my policy have paid. Not according to FNB! They now still keep on deducting my debit order for the loans! I am still unemployed! I went into FNB Centurion Lifestyle branch two week ago to enquire about this. The lady that assited me at the counter agrees that FNB cannot deduct a debit order if the policy have been paid out. She contacted the regional.manager to assist. An email were sent to the regional manager as per her request. Till today NO response yet again from FNB! I cannot manage my bank account or plan ahead because as soon as I receive funds into my bank account FNB just deduct the loan installments! And that while they have received my installment and the credit life insurance installment also!! I cannot understand how FNB cannot manage this situation! I had no problems with my Direct Axis loan with the same scenario! They immediately paid out! They used the credit balance and monthly deduct the installment from the cedit. No problems! I really don't know what else to do further from my side! It just seems that FNB have a bunch of *********** people working for them or they are so flooded with claims that they are playing ignorance!!! I am in distress! I have been paying for years for this cover to kick in when I need it! Now this nightmare and these extreme measures that I have to take to get response! I just think that anybody that have retrenchment cover on their FNB loans should be aware of this issues! Heaven knows how my family will one day struggle to get FNB to settle these loans should I die!
