FNB Reset Password Process Caused Me to Miss my Job Interview
This is a terrible completely terrible. After looking for employment for 4 months, 4 months! This bank decided to kick me out of my FNB App the same day I was going to attend my last assessment for a job I was provisionally accepted for. I used my card to log in even though I frequently used virtual card, I looked for my bank card and added it to reset my password. All I was trying to do was to gain access into my account so that I can transfer money for transport to go to my assessment for the job. This bag this not allow access even after I added my physical call. I ended up unfortunately missing my appointment for the assessment thanks to FNB, I am now still unemployed. All I was trying to do was to get into my bank account to transfer money and they made it so hard even after reseting my password I still couldn’t gain access to my account. I forfeited a job opportunity that was a once in a lifetime all because of FNB’s failing password recovery systems. I am so heartbroken, beyond distraught by this because the system could at least implement a facial recognition like capitec or something so that a customer can retrieve their account, this thing of asking for a manual card yet they know customers are advancing into more virtual, it’s unacceptable completely unacceptable. We have Apple Pay and have to transfer money, now we need to find manual cards to retrieve or reset our passwords and there is no way around that. Im in tears as Im wrting this, thank you FNB for helping me stay unemployed at home!
