FNB reserving funds with no authority- *****

To follow up on my last review, I received a call early Saturday morning from a very rude consultant who claimed she would calle back, obviously she didn't. The reference number I was provided by FNB can't be found on their system. I was sent from General queries to the ***** department and back. No one knew what was going on and my entire bank balance is still ********ly reserved.

I have Statements of accounts from SARS showing that there is no issue, as well as SARS confirming they have not placed a pledge on my account or on my refund. I've sent the CEO an email too. My wife is ill and I cannot do anything for her, because you've taken my money with no authority. This amounts to theft. To make things worse this is the second time FNB has taken my entire bank balance, I'm not letting this go. This is *****. I also have confirmation from other FNB clients that the exact same thing has happened to them, pledging with no authority.

Utterly disgusting behavior leaving people penniless for your own gain. The Ombudsman has been contacted, and I will be approaching a publication regarding this ******** behavior by FNB should my funds not be returned this morning.
