FNB REPORTS FALSE INFORMATION TO BUREAU'S

Hi

I had a Credit Card account about 4years with FNB. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have not paid it since. I have lodged a compliant with them and no one has contacted me.

By law, this account is prescribed and should not be appearing on my ITC Profile. I have not acknowledged the debt in the past 3 consecutive years either by writing or verbally, not made any payment towards the outstanding amount, nor have I promised to pay.

This is a direct contravention of the NCA SEC 126b. It states that no person may continue collection or re-activation of such prescribed debt as prescription Act 68 of1969(Prescription Act).
