FNB REFUSES TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE LAPTOP
I purchased a brand new Acer Aspire laptop from FNB Device Guru costing close to R14 000.00 less than a month ago. On 1 April 2022 the device switched off while I was busy with important document. After troubleshooting with Ntando of FNB, the problem still persisted for several days, switching off at any time. I informed FNB several times that I prefer to have a replacement device and NOT a repaired device as this is a NEW laptop. I asked FNB to replace or cancel this contract. It seems my request is falling on deaf ears because the Windows 11 operating system was downgraded to Windows 10. This is false marketing and I asked for a NEW replacement device not a repaired device in terms of the Consumer Protection Act ito defective devices. I will never buy another device from FNB. This is extremely bad service.
