FNB refuses to refund ****** money from my cheque account due to *****

I was de*****ed on the 13 June 2024 three transactions total value of R13065.00 was transferred using Instapay Tharelobyte. I immediately notified FNB of the *****ulent transactions and disputed those 3 transactions and was told they cannot be reversed even though it was showing as pending items. They advised that they will lodge a query with the ***** division and will provide feedback within 7 days. I will not be held responsible for the above as I am the only person who has the card and the card details and no one else has this information except the bank itself. The fact that a registered/linked device was used behind a secure login is not my fault or my problem as I am the customer and pay bank charges for FNB to secure my money in the even of ***** transactions like these. Firstly, I did not receive no OTP on my app to approve any transaction. I did not receive any inContact message to notify me of any ewallet notification or approvals. This is a security breach on FNB side not a fault on my side. The fact that FNB does not have security measures for services that allow purchases to be made via contactless card is not my fault and I will not be held responsible for this money being taken away. Further to this, the money that was ****** was the banks overdraft facility and not my own money. I also disputed the transaction on the same day and nothing was done about it nor was a reversal attempt made on FNB side to resolve or try to get the monies back.

Good day kindly note no feedback has been made regarding the above ***** case. This is unacceptable and disappointing from a bank that has a misison statement as follows:

" To help our customers achieve economic success and financial security by building enduring, mutually beneficial relationships based on trust and integrity"

This above mission statement is not being practiced and it is very disappointing and pathetic that the bank has not given me any feedback as they said they would in the reply.

Still no response from FNB as to whether or not my query has been escalated.
