FNB Refuses To Provide Replacement Credit Card In 8/9 Days

My credit card melted in a house fire (accidental damage). I cancelled the card online on the afternoon of 4 July 2020 and immediately ordered a new replacement card, the online notification at the end of the ordering process mentioned 3-4 working days. The new card had to be delivered to the Centurion Lifestyle FNB branch. I went to the branch on Wednesday 8 July (3 working days), no card in sight, instead an agent wasted an hour of my time trying to persuade me to upgrade my accounts when I expressly mentioned that I was not interested, an hour! I was advised the card should be there the next day. I waited an extra day and I went to the branch on Friday 10 July (5 working days), still no card, I was advised it would be there the next day. Yesterday when I got to the branch at 11:05, they had already closed at 11:00 and no agent bothered to advise me of the closing time when telling me the previous day to come the next morning. Today is Sunday (12 July), it's been 8/9 days since I cancelled and ordered a new credit card online. HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT FOR YOU TO GIVE ME A REPLACEMENT CREDIT CARD???? Not even mentioning the trauma and recovery from the house fire I am dealing with, I now need to deal with my bank being unreliable and *********** during this difficult time. In the meantime every single online subscription that I have is failing repeatedly, because my bank can't do something simple like provide a new replacement credit card in a timeous fashion. If FNB don't advise me that my card is ready for collection tomorrow, I will go to another bank and open a new credit card there and close my FNB one immediately, I am over this ****, this is such a joke.
