FNB Refuses to pay back money ****** from my credit card!
On the 24-05-2024 there are 3 transactions totaling R 8,100.00, processed from my credit card account. I immediately called the bank, my Private Banker and used the Bank chat (My Service Suite) to report the incident to block my account.
On the 21-06-2024 I did a follow-up with via Service Suite and Rookhshana advised that my ***** case has been escalated and feedback will be provided with 48 to 72 working hours.
On the 25-06-2024 I followed up again with the bank via Service Suite and Sidney said my case has been escalated and feedback will be provided within 48-72 working hours via email. I did express that I was not happy because I was not helped. I was then transferred to Ntombizodwa. Ntombizodwa transferred me to Card *****. I started chatting with Nthabiseng. Ntahbiseng advised that there was no update and apologized for negative experianced.
I was than transferred to Sophie who shared my case number with me '***'. She advised that I should order a new card, of which I did.
on 06-07-2024 I followed up of my case again and was connected with Amelia who advised that I should inquire during operating hours of ***** desk.
On 01-08-2024 during ***** Desk operating hours, I followed up again on my case. I was connected with Refilwe who told me that my ***** claim was refuted and letter was sent to my email address on 27-06-2024. I checked my emails and confirmed that there was no email from the bank. Refilwe requested that they send me the letter again.
I eventually received the Refute letter on 02-08-2024. I rejected the letter because it claimed that there was an OTP sent to me to approve the *****ulent transections which is false. and they claimed I approved the transections, which is also false.
I am very disappointed with FNB as I have banked with them for years.
