FNB refuses to change my surname

FNB refuses to apply change to my surname, I went to the Maponya Branch ages ago and submitted everything. Still my surname has not changed on my statements. This is affecting my applications for finance because the surnames do not correspond. I even tried calling them a couple of times to no success.
