FNB refuses to assist deaf people

FNB blocked my credit card because of a perceived ********** transaction. It is a legitimate transaction, but FNB refuses to assist me because I am deaf and cannot call them by telephone.

They refuse to service me in any other way (eg by email) and insist that I travel to the nearest branch, which is 200 km away.

I appreciate their efforts to protect clients against *****, but if I have confirmed that the transaction is legitimate, why should I have to incur the (not insubstantial) cost and spend a day to correct the situation?

This form of ************** against the hearing disabled is rife and I have to battle it on a daily basis.
