FNB refuses liability for theft from FNB accounts
R122,000 was withdrawn *******ly at ATMs from my FNB accounts. FNB investigated but deny responsibility despite evidence that the card was cancelled but the theft continued and the existence of camera footage of the person making the ATM withdrawals. Despite this evidence, FNB maintains that the theft was done with my card and PIN by a member of my family and claims that the bank is not liable. It is unacceptable that FNB cannot secure my money and that the bank refuses to take responsibility for breaches in security.
