FNB refused to reverse an unauthorised debit order.

They claim they cannot reverse a debit order.

My account is being debited by an unauthorised company. They debit R280 from account, they debited R280 three times in March and when I went to the FNB branch at Jabulani mall on two occasions on the 31 and 29 March 2025. I was told I must call a contact centre on *** for reversals. I then called the number only to be told that they cannot reverse the unauthorised debit orders because the *****ster company has blocked them to reverse. How ridiculous is that 😡😡😡. Are they not my bank? Are they not supposed to safe guard my money? What is the point of banking with this bank if *****sters can block them from protecting our money.

The only debit order that cannot be reversed is a debit check authorised debit order at other banks. FNB is useless, useless and useless they do not care about their customers.
