FNB refused to give an alternative payment method on Life cover and rushing to lapse policy

I have had a life cover with FNB since 2012 and this year my financial situation changed, and I requested that they give me an alternative method to make payments so I can ensure my policy doesn't go unpaid as I dint have a salary date and debit order won't work. They refused to give an alternative payment method on Life cover, and I was specifically informed that it would take 3 tries on debit order before the policy lapses. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, so they **** and rushed to lapse policy. This is ********* and *****ulent.
