FNB refused to close account

I went to FNB Balfour Park on Tuesday 27-11-2018 to have my cheque account closed. I spoke to a very lethargic consultant called Lotanang Makgatho. She said my account has a problem. A 'category' will have to be changed before I am able to close the account. Without explaining much she called me to another desk and called some number and handed the phone over to me. I stayed on the phone for 11 minutes listen to hold music until I got through to someone to whom I have to explain my issue again. She then told me to call Lotanang to whom instructions were given on what to do to try and resolve the problem. She scribbled some details on paper and then called me back to her her desk where she took my details and send them to the unit she was talking to on the phone. She promised that the category will br changed by 'tomorrow' [Wedenesday 28th November]. I only returned back to the bank on the 30th November only to discover she does not remember me, the problem or the date I came. Yet I had given her my ID book. She kept on asking why was I there and when did I visit the bank. At this point I was very irritated. She finally got to the message she sent and told me nothing has been done. She said it's not her problem, I have to come back. I asked to see the manager and she said 'she is not here' with an attitude. I then asked for her contacts and she said 'I am not allowed to give you ger contact details'. I told her I need someone with a solution for my problem. She walked out for a little while and came back with the same condesending attitude. Ati this point I was just sitting there waiting for whats coming next. Then she aksed 'do you want to see the manager? Come...' I followed her to the manager's office and the manager promised to call me......the story is still unfolding.
