FNB Refusal to update their records to reflect the records that appears on CIPC

So Fnb has been sending me from piller to post in respect of my Fnb trust account and business account, to cut the story short in 2020 i opened trust account ans business account using my company and then the said company was a private company in 2022 i comverted the private company to personal company and results obvious the last two digits from the company identity changed i then went to their branch in benoni in order to change my bank account to reflect the details that appears in the CIPC and i showed them all the documents from cipc to proof that my company has since been converted and to my suprise the officials in benoni refused to update their records and told me that i need to close the account and open a new one , mind you this is the account number that im registered with LPC i cant just close it as i like, im thinking of leaving this useless bank. What is dificult about changing the names on their records to reflects the one that appears on lpc
