FNB Randfontein poor service

Your Randfontein branch does not seem to be up to standard.

I went in to open an account and was assisted very swiftly by the consultant, which I appreciate. The problem is that I was told my account would be processed with in 24hrs and that I would receive my account number via text as a card had already been issued. Needless to say that this did not happen hence this poor review. I only received a confirmation text after 3 days and only to find that the card that was issued was invalid. Due to this I had to go back to the branch and was sent from pillar to post only to be sent to a queue to see a consultant who was supposed to issue me with a new card. By the time I finally saw a consultant I was told that the bank had no cards. My question is how does this happen? Do you not keep a record on the number of cards that the bank has? Are there no systems in place to show that the bank is running low? I was referred to Krugerdorp and told that they might have cards. Now the inconvenience of my time to say the least is what upsets me. Since I needed a card and there seemed to be no other way I went to the Krugerdorp branch which is clearly where I should start going since Randfontein does not seem to have effectively run FNB branch.

Very dissatisfied
