FNB Quality Rapid Decline

We bank at Carlton Centre branch of FNB. WE have been Barclays / FNB clients since 1948. In that time much has changed, but nothing to compare with the attrocious quality standards in evidence at the Carlton Centre branch in the past few months. When we were transferred there some years back following the closure of other centre city branches it was fully staffed and highly efficient. It is now down to a single teller at a time, and the pensioner banking option no loner exists. The result is that what used to take ten minutes can take up to an hour in the queue if a complicated client is ahead of you. This is unacceptable and would be what one would expect in a business that is going insolvent. But this is not the case with FNB. It is just a no care attitude in order to maximise their profits at the expense of quality. It gives the appearance that they are moving out of conventional banking into electronic *****ic activity in which everything is a machine and every normal client just another expendible cog.
