FNB PROFITS FROM ******* DEBIT ORDER

A friend of mine who is a FNB client at The Boulders Shopping Centre in Midrand, went into the bank to find out what debit order was taken from his account without his consent. An amount for R99 was deducted by a company by the name of Royal Craft. The FNB consultant said they could stop the debit order, but they charged him R17.50. To add insult to injury the R17.50 would only be covered for a year. This has happened 4 times within the last year, but by different companies and always an amount of R99 was deducted from his account. Each time he has been to the various FNB branches to query these unauthorised debit orders, different bank charges were deducted to make the reversals.

My question is, why should FNB benefit from the charges a client has to pay to make a reversal of an unauthorised debit order? Not acceptable!
