FNB Products - Extremely disappointing and unreliable

I am a big fan of FNB, and I have always been a very loyal client.

In the beginning of the year I decided to purchase two Fitbit Charge devices from FNB products. And just like I know FNB, the products were delivered quickly and were very nicely packaged.

One week in and the heart rate sensor of my Fitbit Charge cracked. Needless to say I immediately contacted FNB products to find out what I can do (all these things come with a warranty for a reason right?) I was told that the product now falls out of warranty as there is physical damage, sorry…

I NEVER dropped or bumped the device, so I decided to join up with the Fitbit community to try and get some help there. Fitbit contacted me and told me via email, which I forwarded of course, that FNB should replace the product as the cracked heart rate sensor is faulty and the product still falls within the one year warranty.

All of this was communicated to the Device Guru at FNB products. Where he and his accessing team decided, no, it is now out of warranty, they can replace it, but at my own cost…

Are you FREAKEN kidding me??? I am now paying for a device that I have barely worn and they refuse to replace it even though the product manufacturer SAID CLEARLY: “IT IS A FAULTY HEART RATE SENSOR, AND IS THEREFORE STILL UNDER WARRANTY”

You guys are ******* in this regard, I am now patiently paying of my faulty product and will there after NEVER EVER EVER then again make use of your product section again.

AND SO BY THE WAY, the nice thing about this Fitbit community is that all Fitbit users get to talk to one another, 2 week ago a lady contacted me with the exact same issue!

Seriously, if you look after your clients, you won’t need to spend so much money and time on adverti*****ts... Word of Mouth always takes the cake NEH

Still nothing....

FNB Products keep on stating that it is physical damage. Even though Fitbit has ensured that it is a manufacturer’s defect. Rep**** to their email on 20 July..... NO RESPONSES.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM FNB!!!!

This section of FNB is just a joke. "Complaints Resolution" is a term they use to make people feel important, as if you would get the help needed to actually find a solution to the above stated issue. The reason for me stating the problem on Hello Peter, is because I could not resolve this issue with FNB in the first place.... Yet again, empty promises have been made. I am so tired of living in a country where the customer service is below an acceptable standard. The above "apology" which was sent 2 August 2017, was the last response I ever received from FNB products. Absolutely nothing has come of it. And this was because I complained that nothing has come of the original complaint I sent.... Mind you, the issue was raised long ago, I only came to Hello Peter on 17 July 2017. I think it is truly unprofessional and unprincipled to ignore the issue.
