FNB Process and alignment across divisions is non existent, resulting in sheer incompetence

Have had the most frustrating time as a result of applying for a home loan. I don't currently bank with FNB (apparently fall in the 'Private Wealth' bracket).

I have heard FNB/RMB are good, will never know. The call centre home loan agents (where my original logged call was directed to) is on par with the Bond Origination company I fired for exactly the same reason. Lack of full disclosure, lack of attention to detail, which places me as the client at risk!

The reason I was contacted was as a result of a call that I logged - COMPLAINT.

I had the displeasure after a delayed period of the FNB Home Loan Agent (call centre) asking me if I would like him to apply for a better rate for me? Seriously!

When I logged the complaint, the call centre agent took over - needless to say, the ridiculous question along with spelling a common name incorrectly continually ad lack of attention to the detail is of great concern.

My details were then passed to a Private Banker and a Bond specialist (supporting the Private Banking team), who genuinely are great and on the ball in terms of private banking unfortunately they could not help be further is such a pity as I should apparently be with Private Wealth which would result I was informed in a better rate, and whilst I completed all the home loan forms manually (as I don't have a bank account with FNB, was unable to do so online.

I then received a call from a Private Wealth Manager, who then committed to assigning me a banker in the area I work and frankly nothing has transpired to date other than me requesting that the call be closed as one can only take so much in terms of incompetence - perhaps I am not bad off staying where I am.

No response is required from FNB - I have wasted enough time and energy in this organisation.
