FNB problem

I went into the branch to cancel my global account card and get the euros paid to my account. I thought the lady did a decent job but up until now, the account is still valid and active. I also wanted to use my pertrol card but all of a sudden it did not want to work. I was stuck in Johannesburg and a lady called me and informed me that she will request a new one on my behalf. until now I haven't received anything and I want to go on leave soon and would like to have a petrol card for the tollgates. It would be highly appreciated if someone can assist me because it doesn't seem like going to the branch is working.
