FNB Private Wealth not what it's made out to be!

I have been an FNB client for probably 30 years and in that time I have bought numerous vehicles, motorbikes, houses etc. through either FNB or their affiliate Wesbank.I have never ever defaulted on a payment in all these years so would consider myself a very good client with an excellent credit record! I was recently (about 6 mths or so) sold a Private Wealth account with sales pitch of preferential rates on loans etc etc. I have bought Harley Davidson's through FNB and a very expensive Mercedes - and enjoyed a decent interest rate, while not being a Private Wealth client. I have now app**** for Boat Finance - apparently this \preferential rate\" does not extend to Boat Finance! Of course this was not told to me when I upgraded to this account! I am extremely upset that firstly I have wasted R399 a month on an account that is not what it was set out to be!I have been told I will get a \"preferential\" interest rate of Prime plus 1.75%, which I'm sure anybody with any account can get! FNB - stop selling a lie to your clients! I am now receiving a better interest rate from a finance house who I have never used, but they are prepared to finance me! What a poor show FNB....."
