FNB Private Clients - What am I paying for exactly? Please enlighten me

I have been with Private Clients for more than a year and with FNB for more than 3 years now.

Ever since joining private clients, the service I have experienced has been nothing short of frustrating.

Whenever you call your private banker, they are unavailable, or they ask that you give them a few hours to get back to you which they very rarely do. On the contrary, if you call the Premier Desk, they resolve your query almost immediately.

Furthermore, when you do get through to them, all they offer to do is talk you through how to do things on the app. Quote from my private banker:

"Please advise when it will be a convenient time to call you back to assist with ordering your Cheque Card on our Digital Platforms."

I do understand that they would like to enable clients, however sometimes, I don't have time to sit on a 30 min phonecall while someone talks me through something I can easily google - which is what I did and I have successfully ordered and received a new card all without the private banker. Additionally, the private banker has yet to follow up with me. Guess he's not really interested whether my issue was resolved or not. The reason I chose to highlight this is that I had this pattern with a previous banker as well. Unless initiated from my end, they would not actively resolve issues. (Email chains available)

I once lay a complaint with Private Banking. I had an urgent matter and could not get through to anyone in Private Banking. I was told there would be an investigation and I would receive feedback. Well, 9 months have gone by and I havent received anything. (Complaint Reference number available on request)

So FNB, back to the question at hand... what exactly am I paying for?

An FNB Digital Platforms tour guide?

Extra e-bucks? Which, if I can change to a different bank, I would be able retain as hard cash if I am not paying the Private Banking rates

A "go-to" guy? You shouldn't be using this phrase as its more like a "Whenever-they-decide-to-be-available" guy

Someone who can offer me advice? Not sure I would trust these people with my investments, given that you lack basic services competencies

Slow Lounge Access?

Seriously? Wheres the value add to people's lives? Enlighten me
