FNB Private Clients provides an extremely bad service

I have been a loyal client of FNB for just over a decade, I decided to switch to their Private Client service offering as I incorrectly thought it would help to simplify my life. When I switched I encountered the following problems:

1. I was contacted by my new private banker Vuyelwa Nyangule. I asked for information about some of the new service offerings, and was promised that she will get back to me. To date, no feedback.

2. To simplify my life I used the auto credit card payment function on the online banking portal, this service went haywire and started makine multiple payments. I had to provide extra liquidity to my current account so that it won't get overdrawn. I contacted my private banker, Vuyelwa Nyangule, for assistance but she did not bother to understand the problem telling me that I made the transfers. I asked to speak to a manager, and I was put on hold indefinitely.

3. Regarding the incorrect payments I called back multiple times, eventually got feedback from Jennifer Dladla, who promised to look into it. I was promised that the incorrect payment will be reversed, but a week later it still haven't been corrected.

4. I received an e-mail from Vuyelwa Nyangule promoting all the great services she can help me with, which is a blatant lie as she still haven't answered my previous request for information, nor bothered to understand the ongoing issue with the incorrect transfer.

I'm paying a premium for a sub par service.

Kind regards,

Jan Paul

Dear Sir/Madam,

The correction on my credit card account have still not been done, and this is now nearly two weeks. In addition to that, my initial information request regarding an offs**** trading account keeps being ignored. Instead my private banker keeps pushing your Channel Island account. Your Channel Island account is a bank account, my request is for a trading account which falls under your Global Trader service offering. But despite pointing out the obvious repeatedly she seems unalbe to see the fundamental difference between the two account types.

Furthermore, my private banker has now engaged in vindictive activities following my previous complaint by instructing other serivce departments to contact me, about service requests I never made, during times I explicitly told her I should not be contacted.

Your service offering is dismal, and your slogan of your private bankers being a "Go-to guy" is nothing but a lie.

Kind regards,

Jan Paul

Dear Sir/Madam,

The chaos continues, every request is a mission with your "bankers" and I'm not getting done what I require. All that they do is point you somewhere else, and most of the time that somewhere else have nothing to do with what I require.

To cover the initial mistake that FNB made with my account, I had to increase my credit card limit. In your contract that I have to sign, you have a clause where you give yourself the right without an opt-out to sell my personal details to telemarketers. So clearly you have no issue violating the privacy of your customers.

Kind regards,

Jan Paul
