FNB Private 2nd Cheque account

FNB has wrongfully opened a secondary cheque account in my name without my consent. I have requested the account to be closed, but FNB is demanding an upfront payment of over R1,200 before closure.

This is unacceptable, I did not request or use this account. If this issue is not resolved and the account is not closed by the end of this week, I will have no option but to move all my financial products (in excess of R45,000 per month) to another bank.

I expect urgent action and confirmation of closure without any unfair charges.
