FNB prefers legal route than trying to contact loyal customers

How is it possible that a bank can hand you over for one unpaid payment. They don't even have the audacity to contact me to find out why it wasn't provided for or when it will be paid. The amount is a ludicrous R1500 ... nothing that would bankrupt them.

To prevent any further occurrences, I pay the entire outstanding balance. I also pay money into my cheque account and guess what ... they take another 2 payments ... this after I complained and told them I paid the full outstanding amount.

It has been 3 full working days and the only response I've received is: "Please be advised that I have submitted a request to our FNB Loans Department and awaiting feedback. Kindly note I am following up and will revert back once I have feedback."

This is a loan that they charged more than 30% interest over a 6 month period - blatant theft.

No wonder FNB is not nominated for any service excellence awards ... and never will be.
