Fnb pre approved offers to be avoided! It's misleading

Got a pre approval on my banking app for 226k and I thought let me take it and as soon as I wanted to press accept I lost network signal so could not finish my application ! I asked my banker and he tried and now all of a sudden it's 105k and he ref it to credit which I know I never get any feedback from! I have a 103k facility so thought ok I will take the 105k extra but I was wrong fnb wants to give me 2k increase not 226k which I was approved for! What person in there right mind will accept a 2k increase? Absolutely crazy!!
