FNB POS MACHINES NOT WORKING ALL OF A SUDDEN
I am sitting with a really big problem, and I really don't know who else to turn to, so I hope FNB gets to read this and responds ASAP.

I am an optometrist in Rustenburg, recently having started my own practice. As is the case with any new business, cash flow is of great importance. I app**** for and received a POS machine via FNB. Further to this, we installed a second POS machine to process EDCON card transactions. Up until Saturday the 5th it was functioning well. However, since then both the traditional POS and the EDCON machine have stopped transmitting, without any forewarning whatsoever. FNB's merchant call centre is not very helpful as what needs to be done to restore connection. They blame Telkom. No e-mail to warn of disruption or need to migrate?? I got the impression they were hiding something and don't even know what is really going on. All that is being said is that we need to migrate to a wireless radio pad? What are the cost implications? I am losing money on a daily basis due to patients not being able to pay their accounts and also on cash sales where people buy with either debit or credit cards. I need answers and I need them fast.
