FNB - Poor Service, Lack of Communication, and Wasted Time

My experiences highlight serious deficiencies in customer care, communication, and problem resolution. There is a clear lack of attention to client queries, with little regard for customers' time. Issues that should be handled efficiently are instead met with delays, poor communication, and a lack of urgency. Simple requests are mishandled, requiring repeated follow-ups that result in unnecessary frustration and wasted time. For example, a recent request for a credit limit adjustment was assured to be completed within 24 hours. However, despite this assurance, the process was not properly handled, leading to further delays and requiring me to follow up on an issue that should have been resolved in one step. Similarly, an attempt to set up a savings account was not processed correctly, once again requiring additional time and effort to rectify FNB's mistake. These incidents highlight broader concerns, including: Incompetence: Staff frequently appear unfami**** with procedures, leading to errors and inefficiencies. Lack of Attention to Detail: Basic requests are mishandled, requiring unnecessary follow-ups. Poor Communication: Clients are left uninformed about processes, timelines, and next steps. No Sense of Urgency: Problems are not treated with priority, wasting clients’ time. FNB’s service has been frustrating, time-consuming, and highly disappointing. It is unacceptable for an established institution to continuously fail in delivering even the most basic service.
