FNB poor service

My device was sent in for repairs, as it was still under warranty , i received feedback that my device is irreparable and that i will receive a second hand device as a replacement, this is totally unacceptable as i am still paying for the device, i was also told that if the device is faulty i can send it back for repairs and start this whole process again for another month. this is utter ****, i am extremely fustrated that i have had no phone since the end of May, i receive feedback only to be told that i will be getting a second hand phone which was someone elses and i am still expected to keep payng for it. I am also paying insurance for the phone and now will be expected to pay insurance for a second hand phone.

I have received the most substandard service from FNB, it’s been 8 weeks and i have still received the same feedback that was initially given to me, i am extremely tired and frustrated with begging for assistance from FNB. I was told that i will be receiving a "refurbished" (second hand) device since my device is irreparable even though it’s still under warranty and is insured through FNB itself, however i was told that because the fault was a factory fault i cannot claim from insurance, I’m not sure what the point of having insurance is then, besides that i have to now pay for a second hand phone at the price of new phone, which to me is unacceptable, how is this fair practice under the consumer protection act? I haven't heard of Vodacom, MTN or CellC issuing second hand phones to their clients, but it seems that FNB has come to issue substandard services like this to their clients. I am utterly disappointed that no other options was presented to me, FNB speaks about being solution driven in their radio and television ads, especially to their premier clients, but yet all i was told was receiving a second hand phone is the best service they can offer me, what kind of service is that? Even when feedback is given to me, i get emailed not even a courtesy call? The worst of this is that i was told if the second hand device is damaged then they will push for a cancellation for me, meaning they willing to give their client a device that maybe damaged, how is this the best possible service, consider changing your name from First National Bank to Worst National Bank. Unfortunately due to the substandard service i have received as a premier client i will be taking my business elsewhere and will be seeking legal action under the consumer protection act.
