FNB playing God with peoples money

i requested 2 debit orders to be reversed i was told it will take 40 days and the funds will be returned ,i than received an email stating it was unsuccessful as there was a contract in place with the company whos debits i am disputing. FNB you as my bank should not be the ones determining what debits i can and cannot reverse it was not one of your products ,you also dont know the reasons behind me reversing those debits with the company in question or what happened in the background causing me to reverse them.With that being said i will defnitly be taking my account elsewhere as i do not have any faith that you are able to protect my funds
