Fnb Pinelands refusing to open a group account for an association of Immigrants

Last Wednesday I went to Fnb pinelands to open a business account for our new association. We had all documents they requested but then from nowhere they changed their minds and say we as signatories we must have business permits. Now I asked that this was an NPC and we have work permits why would they request a business permit in opening a business account for a community project. Please can someone form fnb tell us why pinelands fnb has that requirement.
