FNB Personal banker experience inaccurate and false advertising
To whom it may concern,
FNB advertises a "personal banker" service and experience. However, each time I have a query, I get transferred between numerous people and departments without a resolution. The chats just ends. No one calls or responses with any helpful feedback, or calls to follow up. This is completely unacceptable.
I've been banking with FNB for years. I am terribly disappointed and taking the time to type up this complaint knowing I might not get a solution to the problem at hand, is disconcerting. I am considering switching banks, as this is one of many occurrences.
I have a credit card loaded to my profile for which I blatantly said no thank you. Yet the card is loaded.
Before anyone calls or replies with a customer service response, kindly fami****ize yourself with the numerous messages and context from which this complaint arises.
I received an email today stating that my request has been concludes. But to no avail.
FNB makes an attempt to call with no regard that one may be occupied or in a meeting. One would think that a bank of this calibre would at least consider scheduling a time.
To date I have not spoken to anyone.
The credit facility loaded to my profile is still there. Again, one I did not ask for. Also not a category I approved.
Additionally, I accidentally transferred funds to this card that has not been officially activated. Now I am unable to transfer it back to my normal account.
How is this even legal?

I had a call with FNB yesterday and confirmed that I do not want the credit card facility. A quote was sent to me. Note that this quote was not signed, nor is the card activitated or in my possession.
An iniation fee of R175 is now reflecting off this card.
Once again an impersonal interaction even from the private wealth division with an email address one is unable to reply to or a call line that actually gets you to someone that can assist.
@FNB What is going on? When will this issue be resolved?
