Fnb penalises customers for settling outstandin
I have a Smart device from FNB. Today when I want to settle the outstanding amount of 1603 Fnb wants to charge me another 1104 as settlement fee. When I called to find out why I was informed that they are trying to get there clients to stick to a contract and not settle it before hand.If you try to settle the contract be for hand you get charged the retail price not the Fnb discounted price. Why did I buy the device from FNB in the first place then. So in this day and age where SA economy is is up to Sh*t A financial institution Will rather keep there clients in Debt for 7 months or penalises them for paying them what they ow. No one is certain of there jobs any more now FNB want to pull this stunt as well.
DO NOT BUY ANY DEVICE FROM FNB SMART DEVICES YOU WILL BE SORRY.
So what next Is FNB charging you a higher settlement price when you try to settle you car or Bond as well will not surprise me at all. This is Realy BAD SA financial institutions is suppose to help there clients stay out of debt not keep them locked in to it when they try to settle there accounts. Isn't that in the National credit Act
