FNB Paypal Nightmare - FICA

I have had the worst experience with FNB. I was previously a Premier Cheque client and I left. I only kept my online profile to have access to Paypal and to make withdrawals to my other linked South African Bank Account. I tried to withdraw from Paypal last month and the system told me I have to submit FICA document to Paypal Team at FNB. I requested a call back from the FNB Facebook Team after I tried calling Paypal customer care number 3 times in 3 days that doesn't help. Luckily I got a callback and I was advised to send a vopy of my ID that is certified and a copy of my proof of address - after sending this I got a response that I also have to certify my proof of address. I have had a nightmare trying to certify proof of address as the Post Office and Police Service are unaware that it has to be certified. I have also attached an affidavit from the Police Station after they have advised me to do so but it was declined by FNB Paypal team that I am communicating with via email. Luckily yesterday I managed to go to a court of law to discuss my matter on what can be done to certify proof of address. The gentleman there was very friendly that he said he would help me certify the document even though it is also his first time having to do this. I have then emailed the document yesterday to have my profile activated so I can withdraw but I have not received any communication.

I was considering coming back as a Premier Cheque client but after this reatment that has dragged over 3 weeks. I have made my mind not to be with FNB ever again (I was with them for over 13 years in different packages and accounts). Before submitting a certified copy the team was very quick to reply but now no one is willing to be as quick as they were when they wanted the certified copy.

FNB doesn't care about what is going on around the world. How can you keep customers going around having to certify a document that is hard to certify when we are going through a pandemic. As a result I have mild flu and coughing every now and again. I would never really know if this resulted from me going to over 4 Post Offices and 5 Police Stations. I can only feel sorry for the people that don't know how to take precautions for the virus as FNB clearly do not care about the lives of South Africans. Now we are on level 3 and I am afraid they will ask for something that I can not provide on time while they know that we are scared for our lives. I AM DISAPPOINTED
