FNB PAYPAL DIVISION CRIPPLES MY BUSINESS

Subject: URGENT UPDATE: 6 Days Without Funds – FNB Complaint ***NF – Business Operations Crippled

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (There is no option for zero stars, which is the only accurate reflection of this experience.)

Update: 17 April 2026

I am posting this update to the public record because FNB's internal escalation process (Reference ***NF) has failed entirely.

It has now been SIX (6) DAYS since I initiated a standard FNB to PayPal Top Up on Saturday, 11 April 2026. This transaction is advertised as taking 5 minutes. My funds were debited from my FNB account immediately. The funds have NOT arrived in my PayPal account.

Why This Is a Critical Failure, Not Just Poor Service

1. The False Information Loop: Over the past 6 days, I have been repeatedly instructed by FNB consultants and a "Supervisor" to contact PayPal USA at my own international expense. The reason provided was that "PayPal USA has placed limitations on my account." 2. The Verification: I have now made multiple international calls to PayPal USA. Their verification is unequivocal: There are no limitations. There are no restrictions. The problem has never been with PayPal. The problem remains squarely with FNB's processing system. 3. The Escalation Contradiction: Despite being told by FNB (publicly on this platform) that my complaint has been referred to the relevant department, I have received zero proactive communication. I was promised a callback from a Supervisor on 15 April at 09:00. That call never happened. When I chased the matter, I was cut off. 4. Business Reputational Harm: This is not a personal inconvenience. I operate an e-commerce business reliant on these funds to pay suppliers. Due to this unexplained six-day delay, I have been unable to settle orders. Consequently, my business profile has now been flagged by my suppliers for non-payment. This is direct, measurable financial and reputational damage resulting from FNB's inability to either process or trace a simple electronic transfer.

The Question for FNB Management (And the Public Record):

If there are no limitations on the receiving account, where exactly are my funds being held for six days, and why has no one at FNB been able to provide a truthful, verifiable reason?

I am not interested in the standard "5 working days" script. I have already waited longer than the maximum stated timeframe for this product. I am posting this update to ensure there is a clear, public, and contemporaneous record of this failure.

I require immediate confirmation of the location of these funds and a confirmed time of release to my PayPal account.
