FNB, Paypal and eBay, Birds of a feather.

My experience with FNB not good. I registered with Paypal through FNB and at first everything was well. I made a purchase of $40(R533) at the time. I was informed by eBay that the deal was done by a compromised site. FNB advised me to cancel my card, which was done immediately. After many attempts to get my money back I had to throw in the towel. I put the blame for this whole episode on their shoulders. Bad advice was what was given to me and NO matter what I did I was always referred back to Paypal(which to my knowledge was part of FNB). I have been with FNB for many years but cant recommend them at all.

Indeed FNB contacted me. PULE was very helpful. However, as was forever the case, I was passed onto PayPal. And what a disaster. I cant remember how many times I was sent from eBay to PayPal and FNB. They are all just passing the buck. Till today I have not received my money back. I lay the blame on FNB in the first place, because I was advised by their floor person to cancel my debit card after a problem with an eBay transaction. I have the email where the eBay consultant say the she can see that the money is with PayPal. Paypal obviously has no scruples in not helping you. EVERY person I ever dealt with in PayPal, and eBay was only interested to get rid of me as soon as they could. FNB, as far as I know , the agent for PayPal, also could not resolve it. Paypal's excuse, they cant handle a complaint after more than 180 days as it is company policy. If FNB and PayPal is in cahoots with eBay, I dont want anything to do with any of them. If I do the same as they did to me, to another person, I would have been up for ***** and theft. I would be ashamed if I were any of the three. I try to be decent to them, but in my case I am being trodden on.
