FNB PATHETIC SERVICE

I have never received good service from FNB but always overlooked it. They are forever experiencing higher than normal call volumes even if you call them 10 times a day, this for one speaks volumes of the pathetic service we receive for paying such high service fees and bank charges. Premium banking was suppose to mean having a team of bankers always available to help but even this never happens, there is a queue - I was number 260 and never assisted.

Currently my main issue is were I am practically begging them to release my money to me. I had my mobile contract with them, it was the promotional device were I was forced to have R1500 in my saving pocket account as a pledge until the contract ended, I was told that 24 hours after my last payment this money will be released to me but that hasn't happened.

My last payment was on the 28/09/2018, today is the 03/10/2018 and I am still getting the run around. The mobile department said that they will send a request for the pledge to be released on the 28/09/2018, on the 29/09/2018 I called savings and investments cause the money was not released, they told me that I will need to go into the branch that assisted me with the contract as they will not be able to release the funds without notice from the branch.

On Monday the 01/10/2018 I took time of work to sit at the branch only for them to tell me that this should have already been done and the money should have been available, they could not do anything from their side and had to call the same *********** mobile department, after the branch consultant who was helpful spoke to a rude agent he asked to speak to a Team leader who assured him that the request was sent and that the funds will be released in 24 hours, once again today is the 03/10/2018 and it is still locked.

I called in today and was transferred to the Smart device department, I first spoke to Lindiwe who said that the request was sent yesterday at 13:40pm (the money is still locked), I then spoke to a team leader by the name of Roxanne at around 10:40am today and she said that she will get back to me in an hour, till now she hasn't, when I called in for her I was told that she has left for the day.

I asked to speak to a manager higher that Roxanne, I was put on hold for about 20mins and the call was disconnected.

MY MONEY IS STILL NOT RELEASED!!!! but every month a number of different fees are taken of my account, my bank charges for the past few months have been nothing less that R400 per month.

My advise if you are not with FNB, please don't make the mistake of leaving your current bank, I have a credit card only with Nedbank but I have always received nothing but outstanding service from them, 5 mins is the longest I was ever on hold with them.
