FNB pathetic

As I am doing this review I am sitting in an FNB branch in Aliwal North where I attempted to deposit money at their ATM. There was an error on the ATM and my deposit was unsuccessful! Now the manager tells me there is nothing she can do and the refund will take 14 days. To makes things worse is that this same manger tells me to wait until she can attend to me as if this is not an emergency nor can she ask any of the many other personnel to assist me. I cannot believe this. What should I now do for the rest of the month? How should I pay my bills? How should I buy food? I’ll close down my account as soon as this matter is dealt with!

Yes and in the meantime I am left without money because of your incompetence. It is astonishing how you treat customers. You should have named your bank Eakom

To everyone who views this complaint - I strongly advise you to stay away from FNB. I work for a company who coincidently also banks with FNB. A few month some of their premium bankers came to visit our 21 offices explaining what an excellent service/product they are offering. After months of constant beging I eventually agreed to move over to FNB. That was probably the biggest mistake of my life. In this week of being a client of FNB I have had to sit in multiple long lines at the bank (even though being promised that I will never ever have to sit in line at a bank again), multiple system problem or the system being offline, multiple customers cards being cloned at FNB ATM in the town I live in and then today the silver lining of have an FNB ATM malfunction when attention to deposit my available funds into my new account. Now I’ve been told by the Managers of the Bank that there is nothing she can do and that the complaint that I should file could take up to 14days to be resolved. This all after she initially refused to assist me because she and a co employee was busy ons her laptop.

I am just curious that who is going to take responsibility for the ATM malfunction when my debit orders can’t be processed. Who is going to provide me with funds for food, fuel and electricity during the time of this complaints being “resolved”

What a day to be alive.

FNB should have been called Eskom

So Literally after sending more that 15 emails and calling various numbers for “private bank clients” not a single person got back to me with anything other than “I am sorry”

Just to be clear. I do not accept your apology.
I cant recall the time when the currency of apologies was indicted into our payment system and that business now accept them as a form of payment.

This is clearly lost on you. It goes far beyond that a little inconvenience or just completing a claim form.

Because of your malfunction ATM I am left to explain why my debit orders wont be paid. That money was earmarked for specific debit orders. Now I have to take money that was meant for other expense in order to cover these debit orders.

And all you have to say is sorry. How about you accept responsibility for your incompetence??????
