FNB OVERDRAFT DEPARTMENT -MISLEAD CLIENTS
Very disappointed with the service from the department that offers Overdrafts to clients. Yesterday 09/05/19 I received a call at work from a FNB consultant offering me an overdraft on my cheque account. I asked that consultant so many times, about how it works as I wasn’t clued upon overdrafts this was my first time. I did enquire how much I would pay for a certain amount and she told me 20% interest. I did ask her to forward me the quote and she told me she can only forward once I agree to everything I was very hesitant about it and enquired again about how it works she told me it will be the about I used up plus the 20% interest. She also told me I would receive a sms with her name and contact number that was not received to date. I received the overdraft agreement with the Illustrative total cost of credit, including credit limit, interest, fees and charges totally different to what she told me and was upset about this.
Please remember that at work it is very difficult to have a personal conversation especially if you sitting in an open plan office. I did try to call the number on the document to no avail. I unfortunately cannot discuss this matter at work please can you call my husband Mr Y Naicker he as all my information or you can call me after 5pm and I want this overdraft to be cancelled immediately. FNB can reverse the amount that was put into my account. FNB can go back and hear my call with your consultant and you will clearly hear that I have been miss informed. Please get your consultants to speak open and honest when clients enquire we trust our bank thinking they have our best interest at heart. ********** 910
