FNB Overdraft

I am very much dissapointed at how FNB tackled my issue with them.

Last year since the country was in Lockdown I couldn’t go to work since I work overseas, I was supposed to leave around April, but I couldn’t I was offered the COVID19 relief to take care of my commitments since I couldnt go to work meaning no salary I submitted all the necessary documents plus a letter from work stating that I couldn’t go to work due to International travel restrictions, I then was approved for the 2nd phase as 3 months had passed I ended up leaving mid October and my Salaru for October was paid beginning of November and FNB deducted it all and reduced my overdraft facility month end November my Salary reflected into my account and FNB deducted it all again and in these 2 months my loan and credit card hadn’t deducted, I tried calling from Angola but calling was too Expensive, my bank account got blocked too for some strange reason My December salary reflected then I was in Cape Town and called FNB and I was told that they closed my overdraft facility ad cannnot reinstate it back of which that was highly unfair because I didn’t default on purpose I sent them letters from work that I couldn’t leave because of Travel restrictions the Overdraft was about R80 000.00 and then now they demanded I pay the arrears on my credit card and personal loan I paid them both but I asked about the overdraft since it burnt a huge hole in my pocket and I couldn’t send even a single cent to my family.
